INTRODUCTION

We believe every child deserves the opportunity to experience encouragement, connection, growth, and joy through camp experiences.

Through our Camp Scholarship Program, We Are Called to Care seeks to support children and teens connected to foster care, adoption, and guardianship families by helping offset the cost of camps that provide meaningful opportunities for spiritual, emotional, social, and personal growth.

Scholarships are available for youth ages 5–18 who are connected to foster care, adoption, or guardianship and who are also involved in some aspect of Called to Care support or services.

Because scholarship funds are limited, applications are reviewed by a scholarship committee that considers factors such as impact, need, and available funding.

If approved, scholarship assistance may be provided either directly to the camp or through reimbursement, depending on the specific arrangement.

We are honored to partner with families as they help children experience safe, encouraging, and life-giving opportunities through camp.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and families will typically receive a response within 14 business days.
